Over the last couple of months I have been making some high value DI's. I made the last one I needed a couple of weeks age, and then had what I thought was a brillant idea! Salvage all gold and then apply it to the highest value item I loot and thereby increasing my 'take' by several thousand coins (I am Guru so have Item Tink)! So I tried it for a couple of days, and was quite pleased with myself as on one trip I increased a 42,000 item to a value of over 85,000! Then a couple of days ago, just as I was about to use the salvage on my best item, I happened to look up at the value of the bag of gold.... to my amazement the value of the gold was 96,000!!! And that is when I realized I was losing more money in this process by using the gold instead of just selling the bags!! From now on I am salvaging all gold and selling it with the rest of my loot. Anyone else doing this?

I general just give it a way but I find so much gold I just might have to look into selling it now

its somethings mages do to buy there comps Panz! no one else needs to worry about it....or to keep the boyts in comps
