Hello All my favorite peeps..


Ok Ive been thinking some... Ya i know bad idea for me You are all in for it now..

I would like to know what kind of events you guys would like and would like to do to make the game more enjoyable for you. To bring some more excitment to the game for our old members and our new ones.

The reason for this is when we have events I notice that we dont have allot of LD member who show or join in. After talking to a couple people I understand that the last couple were involving Pk'ing and if you are like me ( I suck at Pk'ing and dont do it often) So the clans input is always needed so we know what you enjoy and what would be more enjoyable for you.

So if you want some kind of event SPEAK UP.. Only Toy bites...

Ok people i have never known this monarchy to have issues with voicing the opions and what they want... Speak up

One thing that might generate some interest could be an organized overtink party, only more than just an overtink session. Maybe you could combine it with an alchy/ cook/ fletch/ tink/ salvage/ imbue/ swap/ trade/ garage sale kind of thing. Maybe you could advertise it server wide (but maybe with LDers getting first-in-line privileges for the overtinking?) like a month in advance. Have it on something like an early afternoon on a Sunday or a Saturday so that it is the most likely time and day for all timezones to be reasonably able to attend.

If you could line up the overtink sessions and schedule appropriately (not sure how much interest or how many characters could provide services), then you could set aside an hour or so before that for high level trade characters to provide free tinking/salvaging/etc services in order to get all but the last tinks out of the way.

You could also have, in conjunction with the overtinking fandango, our typical raffle event, for which I'll gladly donate some stuff.

What might be kind of nice with this, if you think it has merit, would be if we advertised server-wide, for people to bring their salvage-for-trade or weapons-to-imbue and people could set up down the hill and try to get whatever bags they needed prior to the overtink sessions starting. We could get a mini-Qalabar from the old days going, at least maybe for a little while, maybe once a month or once a quarter.

There, I tossed out an idea.

I made a character named Viamont Toast. You can bring him if you want.

Scavanger hunts can be fun, as can a modified hide-and-go-seek. Break people up into teams. You could have coordinators hidden at different spots around dereth and offer clues to where they are hiding. As time progresses, the clues add up. First team to arrive gets the item that coordinator has. Once all items are collected, the team with the most items wins.

Orienteering:


Teams get an initial clue that sends them to certain coords - clues are not the coords but something like 21.2 clicks NNW from town crier in Arwic.

Each team may have cross points similar, but the team that gets to the end the quickest and in the right order (most points combined) wins.
