No special downloads needed, but you do need to uninstall the old decal. You also should uninstall ALL of the old plugins, impfilter, etc, that you had installed before. Granted, the old plugins might not cause problems just be being loaded in your computer; however, they WILL NOT run on Decal 3 so you may as well uninstall everything anyway.

After you uninstall all of the old stuff, just download and install the new decal and any of the new Decal 3 plugins you want, and you should be go to go.

You may need the directx patch too.

i tried to dl decal but i couldnt i had to dl an xp service pack and finally got it to work. there is one plug in so far that i know of which is el tank.

treestats is supposed to be working too, plus I think that I read Gouru (sp?) has FindIt! working and Einstein. Sucamarto's AC Heaven site is back up again now, with an updated list of the plugins that are supposed to be working for Decal 3.

My decal was working for awhile but now when im IG with decal on i cant click on it or it boots me. I dont know what the problem is I fixed it once already but it messed up again

im having similar problems but im close ....

atleast i was able to install 3.0 but....

it gives me an illigal shut down message with i start decal then start program..

Nash, try the instructions in this link from the decal tech support site to get decal up and running. Maybe they'll help. They worked for me. Best of luck.
