buy.com or ebuyer.com

Anyone have any experience with either of these two?

Looking to buy some RAM for my computer. :)

I use ebuyer alot, not had any issues, but am infomred there not so great if you have problems.

For memory, you can't beat crucial, lifetime warranty and reliable as hell...oh and hi Naka

Hi, never heard of crucial. Was planning on buying Kingston memory.

Heya! :P

Btw, I checked it is more expensive to buy memory from UK than from US (1800 SEK vs 1400 SEK), guessing customs is the problem.

We have purchased ten of thousands (perhaps hundreds) of dollars worth of "whatever" from buy.com. They take Purchase Orders too.

Crucial, Viking and Kingston have decent stuff. All have lifetime warranties.

Or you can buy from Oof.com Naka. We provide deep, deep discounts. It works out pretty well, and we provide nothing but name brand parts. Here's how it works. You order from me (I'm really just the middle man in the operation). I pass the order along to my big boss, who just happens to be Panzer Jr. He goes and lifts the equipment needed from his Dad's stuff and passes it back to me. I ship it to you (because he's still WAY too young to drive to the post office), and you save a lot of money on high quality, pre-tested computer equipment.

Wait, I think I just blew the operation didn't I?

A colleagu (sp?) is going to the US in two weeks, so going to order it to his hotel and have him bring it over here... It saves me some 120 dollars compared to buying it directly here in Sweden...

Thank you for your E-Note.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we do not ship to hotels and we do not
accept foreign credit cards. The order has to be placed and shipped to a
physical address within the US and payed with a US issued card.

Thank you,
EBuyer Support
What is logic behind that?! Sigh... buy.com is out of stock atm, but have emailed them to ask if they can ship to a hotel when paying with Swedish creditcard.
