Info posted in the LTTP here: http://ac.turbine.com/?page_id=396Gateway to the Deep - Players level 130 or above can engage in a continent-spanning quest to open the portals to the new island. Once this has been done, the quest serves as an initiation to gain access to the new island. The initial iteration culminates in a group battle against the fearsome creature!
With the patch occuring Wednesday, I doubt I would be able to participate. However, I would think that some here should be interested nonetheless.
If I could finangle the time I would:
Coordinate with on-server alliances to increase available minds, bodies, resources and rescuers. Coordinate with off-server affiliations to further increase the exchange of intel prior to the culmination. Maintain communication with alliances and affiliates throughout the exploration and proceed as though success were inevitable.
