It's MAGIC! I only need this one now. I no longer need the seventy two remotes that I had.

Did you notice on #3 on the link Panzer provided, when the guy with the remote pressed the help button that blonde woman was right there on the couch, guiding him through the remote control questions he had? Now that's service!

Hard to find RF remotes nowadays. But, this is a sweet tool. :) You can program it thru the web for anything. :)

Okay, funny time:

Had a friend with way too many remotes. I think he had 7 or somesuch lying about the living room that were in use. I showed up one day when he was away, but his roommate was there.

Turns out there was a basket that the remotes were supposed to be kept in next to the sofa. Usually the remotes were hopelessly scattered between the living room and kitchen. Mostly they tended to collect on the entertainment console. Go figure?

I'd just been garage saling and had found a number of old remotes. Like eleven of them. Bought the lot for two dollars...you see where this is going don't you?

Together Rob and I collected all of Rick's remotes and put them where they were supposed to go, then added the 11 others. The real kicker is that most of the remotes looked very similar. For an added boost, we took the batteries out of all the ones that actually worked.

I was told that you could hear Rick screaming from a block away when he tried to turn on the news. To hear Rob tell it, Rick about gave himself a stroke. I really wish I'd been there to witness it in person. I'd probably have laughed myself unconscious.

hehe -- that's funny.

Now, add a two year old that will move all of those, periodically, and you have my life. :D LOL
