Last Dynasty - A Solclaim Community

Today my son decided to create another character (Ncatyl, where are you when I need you lol) and out of no where my son was being buffed. Much to my son's surprise I must say. He started yelling through out the house that where is this coming from. And I assure you, he yells loud!

I go to the computer and see him being buffed by someone, and said do not worry, someone is being generous and buffing you.

So, to Huck E, I thank you. He honestly thought at first he was being attacked lol. This young man is very much a true noob to the game. He has watched me play, but the concept escapes him somewhat at times.

Reason for this post, if you see a young char running around, and not sworn to one of Ncatyl's characters yet (nor anyone for that matter), and does not answer you. Please be patient. Although by Turbines rules he is old enough to play the game, he is not quite the typer or reader.

Not sure what Turbines stance is on children with disabilities, but we are taking the chance that hopefully he won't be UCM checked, for inevitably he will fail as he is ADHD/ODD/Autism PDD. And by no stretch will he be able to respond in time. We are both aware of this. He can read, he can type but by the time he answers you, you will have been long gone lol

And I just don't want the people in LD to think he is ungrateful, he is not, just slow so be patient and kind to a gentle spirit if you can

Currently he is running around on a character named Eggman. Where he got that I have no clue, as I awake this morning to see a new character on his screen lol.

LOL no he now also has darkswordman and eggman. I swear each morning I don't know what "char" I will face!

LOL should have known would have been Yerb or someone like him then again that would pretty much apply to anyone in LD

While I'm not playing anymore, I just wanted to tell you that your post made me smile. Our kids are very much alike. I believe I spoke with you a year or so ago about them. B had the ADHD and the PDD-NOS, as well as a seizure disorder. She's at Girl Scout camp right now-sleepaway, until Friday....for the first time ever-she is gone for 5 nights 6 days......SCARY! ;-P B has been interested in WoW (my strongest addiction since I left AC in February) but I've held off letting her play. I'd be interested to see how your son does. I've been very nervous regarding the social part of the game. I'm afraid she totally would not get it.

Yes we did Saph and I am interested to see how this goes as well. As it is, someone does speak to him, he comes running faster than a speeding bullet dragging me back to his computer yelling HELP

So far so good, I think lol. He loves running all over, today he spent three hours just running around the map to "see what he could see" as he put it.

No fighting, just running lol. That was it for the day

Worse case scenario, he gets banned for failing to respond, we are prepared for that. Best case, it improves his reading skills as he has been talking to every NPC he comes across and reading it!

Remembering how our two are alike in those respects and our conversations past of this, I will certainly keep you posted!
