Who says we're the most intelligent? We can only generally communicate with our own species and even then not always. Those other species for whom we learn their own language, we seek only to kill or distract.
Again,
Who maintains we are the most intelligent? What other beast do you know of that suffers disappointment for wanting something that is less than a necessity? What other beast kills its own kind for a fashion statement?
We are not so smart as we'd like to think we are. And if you think you're at the top of the food chain, I invite you to swim in shark infested waters, lay with a lion, or try to dance with hungry wolves.
No, we are not so smart, nor capable as any of those.
