This sounds weird - especially the Envoy reply : "you need TOD CD installed to use Skill Sellback" ?!

My reply in that thread :

First of all the CD has *nothing* to do with it.

Basically the CD contains the general Graphics Update client that is also used for ACDM now.
But you need to have downloaded and installed that anyway or else you cannot log in at all.
It is the *CD Key* that makes TOD, not the CD itself.

Now the Envoy might have meant "you need to have the TOD Key registered in Account Management".

But then again : Skill Sellback with XP refund is not part of the TOD Expansion - it has been ingame for a long time.

Theoretically the reduced timer on Skill Gems might be limited to TOD accounts - I don't know that yet.

I got on, did the sell back, I don't have TOD CD, and Serinity went sword melee spec I don't think you need the cd in order to do the skill sell back because well I did it.

My son fixed his toon and I haven't got my ToD in the mail yet. I just downloaded the grapics update.. what a pain. He had no problem doing the sellback quest. You just have to wait 1 min between each gem
