Been messing around on there. Graphics are better, not great but better. I turned them all the way up. There are some differences in the academy that I noticed, will keep testing.

I lagged out as soon as I exited the academy in Sanamar. I'll try it again later.
No matter what I'm gonna like it as long as it brings up the server population numbers...even if it is mostly returns and not new people.

I got home from work and finally got a chance to get my guys out of the training academy. Now it's time for me to go get dinner. I plan to be back on for a while tonight. 
I'll be ingame as Smurf Master and/or Viamont Toast, especially since Panzer already took that coolest name of Fatty McButter Pants

Close, but I think Fatty McButter Pants sounds funnier. It certainly smells funnier.

I like it!
I thought the new academy look and quests were fun and much easier. I like the little mushroom guys. I also like how you can totally skip the academy quest and go straight to lvl 5 with the stuff you would have gotten from the quest. Great for current players.
I like the new starter quest. . .the one to the 4 mushroom hovels. I'm trying to collect all 8 items.
I had no trouble with lag until I went to Sanamar. That was last night and I had to log out. . .it was just so so bad.
It's still buggy to be sure and I'm sure even after July it will continue to be a bit buggy but I'm happy and hoping I get the pre-order that I ordered last week

I like it alot better now that I have gotten that cumbersome start out of the way.
