TECHNICAL PROBLEM.. please help

Hiya... last nigth i had to reformat my hard drive.. and i have installed all drivres and everything i need to play AC, exept decal...

To install decal i need Windows installer... then i went to http://www.microsoft.com and downloaded windows installer v2.

the name of the file is:

InstMsiA

when i run this proggi i get an error message:

The service does already exist.

the crazy thing is that i cant install decal, or any plugins that ends with *.MSI

do someone have an idea? please help me

This may sound obvious, but did you reboot after installing the MS Installer?

Have you tried removing the installer and re-installing the installer?

how to remove the installer?

i can delete the file i downloaded, and redownload.... but i have tried that..

if there is a way to remove windows installer, and reinstalll it. plaes tell me

I tried to Download an older installer, and install it..

WELL.. success... it worked
