Need help..

when i try to go ingame, i hit the play button, its just boots me right back out to desktop. if i try to go back in it gives me a error saying something about the directdraw object, anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Have you update decal recently? I used to have this problem frequently. But since I've started updated decal alot it I don't get the error message. BUT I have no clue if these are related or if it's just dumb luck on my part

Decal was my killer when I had that problem.

After updating it, I never saw it again

i didnt even have decal instaled...but i figured out it was my portal.dat file was correpted
