I like Khaz's draw. I was going to enter that, but I knew as a melee I couldn't kill a mage with 350+ health

Am I to infer that each shield protects against a certain type of attack? I'd believe that by going by color, Red = Fire, Green = Acid, Blue = Cold, Purple = Lightning... But... what is White? Blade? Bludg? or is White = Cold and Blue the mystery?

its a good theory but I think the colour of the shield is irrelevant as far as the protection goes.

Just to let you know.

I tested the theory with the shields.

Tynerion, using Flame Bolt IV on me, was hitting me for an average of 22 when I used the RED shield.

When I weilded the GREEN sheild, and he used the Flame Bolt IV on me, he was hitting for an average of 33.

There IS a difference in the shields.

The shields reduce magic damage, with the cap being 350 buffed magic d and 25% reduction.
