Want a laugh??

Today is day 3 of no food or licquids. Poor Nancy can't even take her meds. She refuses to let me give her the hard stuff because she knows she won't get back up again. She is just so very frail and weak now. It breaks my heart I see her try to move around. She is so weak I have to lift the blankets just so she can change positions. She is still in full control of her thoughts. Mean old witch scared the bejesus out of me today. Sometimes I don't want to wake her when I check in on her. I slide my hand under the covers to feel if she is breathing. When I slid my hand under the covers earlier she felt ice cold. I smothered a cry and pulled back the covers. I started to lower my head to her chest to listen for a heartbeat when she said BOO. I told her she was an evil old witch and would be lucky if i didn't spank her diapered ass when I came back in the room. I had to walk away for a minute and laugh and cry. When I came back in she had turned over and said take your best shot. Lord have mercy. I don't know how much more of this I can take lmao.

Sounds like she still has a sense of humor, which is pretty good under the circumstances. Hang in there, girl!

at least she's trying to have fun...gotta give her credit.

she seems content with the situation and she seems ready, when it happens itll be a time for mourning, but a time to celebrate her life as well...
