Atm its around 30 celcius here (87.8F), humidity like a rainforest - not that great for people used to temps far lower. I am sweating like a pig!

Guess I should be glad tho, its been years since we had a summer like this :)

Guess I'll go get something cool and low or non-alch and log on ToD :)

You should come to my house, where my husband likes to keep the temp at a comfy 66 degrees all spring, summer, and part of the fall. His philosophy is that you can always put something else on, but there's only so much you can take off!

hehe -- we have ours at 78. My electric bill is already 400.00/mo :) 66 seems really cold. My little one would be freezing at night.

It's not too bad, especially during the heat of a summer day. I'm so used to it now that when we go to my in-laws to stay for a couple of days, it actually seems stuffy at night because they don't run the air all the time.

As for the electric bill, our electric company has a program where they take your last year's total charges and pro-rate it out for the next year, so your bill never goes up or down, which kind of evens out since we tend to spend more in the summer than in the winter. It keeps us from having those unexpected high bills. We just have to sign up for it every January. We also have it set up to come out of the account automatically, so that's one less check to write.
