Trade Bot ripped me off!

Yes it's true a Trade Bot by the name of Qui Mysteriae ripped me off i want to be a bag of opal i told it to add it and so it did so then i put my stuff in it and i said buy then pressed the trade button it said trade complete my stuff was gone and i didn't have my opal! can someone help me please

Find out who owns the bot and let them know,

who was the bot's patron and monarch?

Ok it's monarch is Kou Legion of Qui and his/her patron is Baronet Sorgiaem

Did you leave a message on the bot? Try that as first route, all trades are recorded by the bot, I'm sure you will be fine, NOT persons fault, just a turbine error.

sometimes its just a glitch in the game, log out and then back in and check your inventory, if you don't find the opal check to make sure that you don't have what you traded for ti either

Yes, what Phred said.

I mean, there is no "way" for someone to just grab your stuff from the trade window and not give you theirs. Otherwise, people would be doing this left and right.

Just watch how you use the term "rip off" when you also include the characters name. No need to destroy credibility if this was a glitch.

I recently started to run a Tradebot myself.
During testing I noticed a (rare but possible) bug/problem that also occured once with a customer :

After checking prices and points you clear the tradewindow and "add" an item. The bot tells that the current trade value is XX points but does not display the item *in* the tradewindow.
You might think that a graphic glitch is responsible, as the bot already recognized the item to be sold - or you do not even notice that the item is missing in the trade window as you only watch the chat window where it tells you anyway that it added the item.
So you drop in your payment, press the Trade button and finish the deal with "buy".
The bot takes your payment and tells that the trade for XX points is finished - nevertheless you did not receive the item.

The respective customer left a message on my bot and I had no reason not to believe him as I had witnessed that behaviour during testing (the bot logs did neither prove him wrong nor right). So when finding him online I gave him the desired item directly.

As said before - leave a polite message on the bot with the "message" command. That is the best way to solve the problem.

The problem I described is not intended by the bot owner. It is a bug of even the latest Tradebot 5.0.0.5 - which by the way still is marked as Beta.

Which Opal did you want to buy ? Black ? Fire ? plain ?
I think I have plain and Fire Opal muled. If so then you can have some.

Shorty, the Legion of Qui if a small and very considerate monarchy. THey are good people and I am sure the trade bot owner will be more than willing to try and work out the situation.

Like the above said, the trade bot, puts out a a .txt file that records everyone that visists/buys, so there will be a record of your visist.
