A Couple Questions About Gaerlan Quest

I'm doing the 60-79 level quest. The write-up says Guardian dungeon is Acid, Ziggurat dungeon is Fire. Can I just bane for those 2 types of damage? The write-up doesn't say what type of elementals will be with Gaerlan in last dungeon. What kind are there, and can I just bane fire (for G's sword) and their type of damage? Lastly, how many rounds of buffs does it usually take? Amost forgot, are there any dispel traps?

Ok, here it is. For the ziggarat, bane fire and bludgeoning cause there will be diamond golems at the end. That should get you through that part. The last dungeon has acid elementals, and gaerlan can hit you with acid, fire, and slash as far as i know. Mostly he does fire with that little sword of his. Other than that, just be safe... i just turned level 80, so i can't do it anymore
