The Easter Bunny brought us a special treat!

Post by Cymry » Sun Apr 16, 2006 10:01 pm

One of our cats has been expecting for quite some time. We were beginning to think she would never deliver, and she had been looking very uncomfortable for several days. This morning, after coming back from sunrise service, I checked, and there were 5 little heads in the box in the back of the closet that we had prepared. I haven't checked to see how many are male and how many are female, but 3 are ginger-and-white and 2 are calico-and-white.

My husband has already said he wants to name one female "Bunny." We just need to think of 4 more Easter-related names (maybe "Peter" for Peter Cottontail?).

I noticed yesterday while "socializing" with them that one kitten has a stubby tail. It looks like it folded back on itself and fused that way during development. It's not gross-looking or anything, just unusual.
